The AM-48 is a powerful hand-held Transmission
Impairment Test Set. Through the use of surface
mount technology the AM-48 incorporates
measurement capability and features unmatched.
Designed for field testing of voice and data on 2 or
4 wire telecommunications transmission circuits over
the extended voice band (200 Hz to 20 kHz), the
AM-48 fully complies with IEEE 743-1984 (Bell
Standard 41009). The Model AM-48E is the export
version and fully complies with world standard
ITU-T recommendations.
